The National Animation Museum is in the planning stages for a new museum that will showcase the world of animation from traditional hand-drawn cels to today’s digital, immersive, and motion-capture techniques. It will celebrate film, television, and video games, highlight innovations in extended reality (AR, VR, MR), and examine emerging tools such as artificial intelligence.
While the permanent museum building is still in the planning stages, our team is creating exhibitions, public programs, educational materials, and learning opportunities that will launch starting in 2026.
